This past weekend, I had the privilege of photographing the amazing Alisa and her sweet, blue-eyed Husky, Juno. It was a FREE shoot — and no, you don’t have to wonder why. Juno, now nearing 14, is battling cataracts and struggling with her legs, but let me tell you, this girl still has so much spunk in her! Her tail wags like she’s a puppy, and her spirit is as vibrant as ever. Sadly, though, Juno’s journey is nearing its final chapter, and these moments are precious. It was an honor to capture these beautiful memories for them — the kind of shoot that fills your heart and leaves an imprint. After we wrapped up and sat chatting, I couldn’t help but feel inspired by their bond, their love, and Juno’s relentless will to live every moment to the fullest. So here’s the deal: As part of my shiny new website launch, I’m rolling out something really special for pets and their owners facing the end of the road: Rainbow Sessions. Yes, you heard me right. These are FREE photo sessions for those cherished pets in their final stages, with the only ask being travel and maybe a tip if you’re feeling generous. This is my way of giving back to the community, and bringing together two of my biggest passions — photography and animals. Big thank you to Alisa and Juno for inspiring me and showing me what true love and companionship look like.
