Photographing Love Without Borders

Standing Against Racism and Injustice

I try not to be political with my work—but recent events can’t keep me silent.

As a photographer based in Los Angeles, I’ve had the honor of documenting countless weddings for Mexican and South American couples—not to mention Palestinian, Muslim, Jewish, African American, Indian, Asian, multicultural, multiracial, and gay weddings. These celebrations are full of love, family, culture, and joy—and they’ve deeply enriched my work and my life.

I also work alongside an incredible community of vendors: wait staff, bartenders, mariachi bands, craft artists, and food service teams—many of whom are South American. It’s always an honor, and truly a joy, to collaborate with them. Their talent, energy, and warmth are essential to the magic of every event.

That’s why it breaks my heart and upsets me to my core to see policies and actions that dehumanize immigrant communities. I stand firmly against racism, xenophobia, and the unjust treatment of Mexicans and South Americans in the U.S.

I love L.A., and I love our multidimensional, multi-everything melting pot of people, languages, cultures, skin tones, music, food, and stories.

Photography is my way of honoring people—their stories, their families, and their heritage. I will continue to celebrate and support the beautiful couples and communities I work with, and I remain committed to using my art to stand against hate in all its forms.

My couples are beautiful and I will continue to CELEBRATE YOU.
