Yesterday was my birthday — another lap around the sun. Birthdays always make me pause and think. It’s a natural time to reflect on life, love, success, and all the messy, beautiful things in between.
Rather than dwell too much on the meaning of it all, I took a little road trip. I spent the weekend in Palm Springs exploring Desert X, an outdoor art exhibition that blends nature and creativity in unexpected ways. It was exactly what I needed.
Being surrounded by art in such a unique setting reminded me of something important: play matters. In a world that pushes us to always do more, produce more, be more — making time for creative inspiration is essential.
Art doesn’t just decorate life. It fuels it. It gives me the energy to keep going, especially when work feels heavy or routine starts to wear me down. Taking a break to explore Desert X helped me reconnect with that spark.
